Finally, Forces in Space has ended, and a new unit begins. For the next two months, we'll be taking a deep dive into "Weather and Climate." Let the fun begin! Scientists will be describe the significance of weather/climate patterns in order to have a discussion. What's up Rock Stars?!
Finally! Today we end our Forces in Space Unit. You all have worked VERY hard for a LONG period of time. This is what it takes for you to get what you want in life. And many of you are growing and transforming as individuals in our time together so far. It's amazing to see. You're on your way. . . Today, finish this experience being your best and the score will take care of itself. Finally, remember that we're partners in this experience. Your grade is mine. Let your effort reflect the heart that you've put into your work thus far. Crush it! Hey Guys, It's time to see what you know about physics. Today we'll rock the district assessment and crush it. Before that, I give you the early release video of the week. What's up Rock Stars?!
Today is all about covering the topics of the test. In my eyes, you are already in 9th grade, so with that today, I leave it up to you how you will structure your notes to summarize content for the unit. Scientists will be able to summarize big ideas covered in physics. Hey All! Today We're going to rock a review for the two final physics exams we have this week. Work together and crush it!
Scientists will summarize physics knowledge by using their science journals to do a review. Hey All! Your MTRCs look absolutely amazing! I'm floored by your commitment to craftsmanship as well as completing the project. Well done! Now let's see if they can "go the distance."
Scientists will apply knowledge of Newton's Laws to build/race a mousetrap race car. What's up Guys?! Today is short and we'll be wrapping up our N3L Mini-Labs as well as doing community additions. At the end of class we'll be discussing MTRC's and giving advice to each other. Finally, I give you the ER Video of the Week. What's up Rock Stars?
I have TONS of action for you in science today! You're going to love it! Today, we'll be rockin' our Newton's Third Law Mini-Labs. Make sure to move as a team and that you're recording every detail required (in red on the digital copy of the lab) for each of the five mini-labs. Check each other's journals as you move forward. And most, most importantly that is, have fun! Our time together is getting shorter every day... Crush it. Hey Rock Stars!
