What's Up Rock Stars?!
Today is the day. We're ending our weather and climate unit by taking the district final. You're only hours away from spring break! Be proud of yourselves when you walk out of the door today and the grade will take care of itself. Scientists will convey knowledge of weather and climate systems by taking the district final exam.

Hey All!
Today is going to be all about reviewing climate zones and weather fronts. We'll be using a lot of teamwork today in analyzing and discussing. Be ready. Let's crush it! Hey Guys!
Today we're going to connect our knowledge of climate zones with climate graphs. Your mission for the day is to classify each climate graph and find it's related climate zone while providing evidence for precipitation and temperature data. Scientists will be able to classify locations by interpreting precipitation/temperature data using climate zone mind-maps as a resource. Hey All!
Today we're going to rock the final SLO. Take your time, plan your writing and edit your work multiple times. Hey Rock Stars!
Today we'll be using our mind maps and an interactive to explore climate zones more deeply. Remember, this is our last week of weather and climate. . . And then we're on break! Let's crush it! Scientists will identify characteristics of climate zones of the Earth. Hey Guys! Today we'll be rockin' the second part of our mind maps. It'll be a good way to end the week. Oh, and we have an extended early release video for you to watch while you're working. Enjoy! Scientists will create mind maps to gain background knowledge on climate zones and factors that influence climate zones. Hey All!
Today we're going to take a heat transfer quiz, do community additions over the solar insolation lab and then learn about creating mind maps... (What's a mind map???) Oh, and see the Weather and Climate tab for the mind map information. Have an awesome day! Hey All!
Today is going to rock and the time will go by quickly! First we're going to debrief our season's lab and then start a new one: the solar insolation lab. Scientists will be able to describe why the seasons occur in relationship to the direction of the Sun's rays. Hey Rock Stars!
Today we're going to develop some knowledge on how the angle of the Sun's rays on the surface of Earth creates a change in weather patterns (seasons). Let's rock the seasons lab! Scientists will describe how the angle of sun's rays change weather patterns over time (seasons) . Today marks the ending of College in the Class Quarter Three. Monday begins the homestretch. . . With that, we still have work to do today! After we debrief yesterday's lab, we'll develop some knowledge of seasons and how the angle of the sun impacts weather and climate. Let's rock our seasons' lab!
Scientists will describe why seasons occur. |
