What's up Rock Stars?! Once again, today is focused on preparation for high school-type work. It will be self-paced and you will take college notes (two-column) in order to practice for what high school life will really be like. Good luck today and crush it again! If you complete warm fronts, then begin a new lab entry and call it "Stationary and Occluded Fronts". Next, you can access those materials on the Weather and Climate folder and begin study of these types of fronts in college note format. I have also uploaded a link to our first Weather and Climate Project! Scientists will be able to identify and describe cold fronts, warm fronts, stationary fronts and occluded fronts.

What's up Guys?!
I hope you watched the game last night because it was amazing (even if you didn't like the outcome.) I also hope that you were able to get through the reading/video in preparation for today's quizzes. Science journals are totally okay for you to use! After the quiz, we'll be checking out cold fronts and warm fronts. It will be self-paced and you will take college notes (two-column) in order to practice for what high school life will really be like. Good luck today and crush it! Scientists will be able to identify and describe cold and warm fronts. What's up Rock Stars?! I loved the discussions yesterday! In order to become more passionate we need to add to what we know about weather and climate. This will reinforce our thoughts, beliefs and perspectives so we can become more effective in addressing climate change (or not) when speaking with others. The content may seem dry (pun intended) but it will make you more effective thinkers that advocate for your beliefs. Crush it. Prior to that, here's something fun to watch weather related. Scientists will be able to describe the types of clouds, weather fronts and air masses. Hey All!
Today we'll finally be getting to discuss and debrief Chasing Ice! I'm excited to hear your thoughts, if your perspective has changed thus far, and overall see how much you care about this issue. Make sure to stay engaged and focused on listening to the other person as well as stating your thoughts. Have fun! Scientists will discuss the problems surrounding climate change and also why it happens. Hey All! In order to further start our Weather and Climate unit, we need to take a pretest to see where we're at with this. Just take your time and do your best. If time, we'll jump right into our discussion of Chasing Ice. And before ALL of that, I give you the early release video of the week (Thanks Adrianna:-) |
