Hey Guys!
Today we're going to rock a lab titled: Heating Earth's Surfaces (soil, sand, water). We'll be looking at how the types of heat transfer impact different materials (soil, water, sand). *Scientists will identify how/why heat impacts Earth's surfaces differently. *Scientists will describe types of energy transfer within each Earth material (sand, soil, water).

Hey All! Thanks for crushing it Monday and Tuesday! It's been a great week so far! As for today, it's quiz time. Take your time, be methodical and check your work after you're done! At the end of the day, make sure you're proud of the effort you showed. Scientists will apply knowledge of weather and climate by selecting key terms when analyzing the context in a passage. Hey All!
Today we'll be wrapping up our heat transfer simulator and debrief as well as take some notes on radiation, convection and conduction. It should be a super easy day! Scientists will be able to describe the types of heat transfer on Earth and identify examples where they occur to influence weather/climate. Hey All!
I hope you all had a great weekend! Today we're going to debrief our lab from last Friday. Next we're going to refresh types of energy in a PPT and then do a simulator over energy types. All this and we'll rock some energizers along the way! Let's have an awesome day! Scientists will be able to describe the types of heat transfer on Earth and identify examples where they occur to influence weather/climate. What's Up All!
Happy Friday! Today we'll be rockin' another lab. The ideas we're going to play with are directly related to the ideas from Dragon's Breath. Scientists will be able to measure the relationship between water vapor and air temperature by calculating relative humidity. Hey Guys! Have you ever wondered why you can see your breath in cold days? Well, you'll be able to after today. Scientists will reinforce ideas of cloud formation by describing "Dragon's Breath". Hey All! Today we'll be doing community additions over Cloud in a Jar and conducing a ticket out. Next, we'll have some fun in a review game that covers the content from last Friday/Monday. Let's have an awesome day! Scientists will describe and draw how clouds form. |
